Now based in New York—she graduated with a BFA in dance from Juilliard in 2006—25-year-old Belinda McGuire is the talented teenager from Canadian Children’s Dance Theatre who grew up to have a glittering career and garner praise from The New York Times. Entitled Desert Island Project, this local show features solos by such top choreographers as Kate Alton, Andrea Miller and Idan Sharabi, as well as one of McGuire’s own works.—Paula Citron
