TSO conductor laureate Sir Andrew Davis makes one of his regu­lar return visits to lead the orchestra and Greek violin soloist Leonidas Kavakos in Brahms’ majestic Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D Major, op. 77. Also on the program are 20th-century German composer Paul Hindemith’s News of the Day and 19th-century Frenchman César Franck’s Symphony in D Minor.
