This is the fourth in a six-concert, three-season, Beethoven-focused Music Toronto series by the renowned ensemble. Violinists Martin Beaver and Kikuei Ikeda, violist Kazuhide Isomura and cellist Clive Greensmith perform String Quartet in F Minor, op. 95 (“Serioso”); String Quartet in E-flat Major, op. 74 (“Harp”); and String Quartet in C Major, op. 59, no. 3—the last of three quartets Beethoven wrote in 1805 and 1806 for the Russian ambassador in Vienna.—Rick MacMillan
