Ivars Taurins conducts the Tafelmusik Chamber Choir and Orchestra in performances of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Requiem, his enigmatic and incomplete final work. Soprano soloist Shannon Mercer, mezzo-soprano Margaret Bragle, tenor Colin Ainsworth and baritone Nathaniel Watson are featured in a program that also includes Franz Joseph Haydn’s St. Cecilia Mass, Hob. XXII:5, composed in honour of the patron saint of musicians.—Rick MacMillan
