Jeanne Lamon directs the orchestra in Forces of Nature: An Earth Day Celebration, conceived by Tafelmusik violinist Julia Wedman. The program of music by Jean-Philippe Rameau, Antonio Vivaldi, Francesco Geminiani, Georg Philipp Telemann and Giovanni Battista Buonamente demonstrates that even composers of the baroque era were mindful of the relationship between humans and the natural environment.—Rick MacMillan
