Back for its eighth season, the musical counterpart to the theatre fest covers a wide range of genres. Classical highlights include marimbist Pius Cheung, as part of the Maureen Forrester Young Canadian Artists Series, July 23; L’Orchestre de la francophonie Canadienne, under conductor Jean-Philippe Tremblay, with soprano Marianne Fiset, July 27; and an organ and choir recital featuring works and anthems by Thomas Tallis, Henry Purcell and John Stanley, with organists Duncan Ferguson and Nicholas Wearne, and the choir of St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral from Edinburgh, July 31.—Rick MacMillan
