The company’s University Voices program brings together more than 160 of the finest young adult choral singers from across five provinces to perform the music of the Americas. Compositions by Schafer, Osvaldo Golijov, Alberto Ginastera, José Evangelista, Claude Vivier, Eric Whitacre and Pinto Fonseca are on offer, as well as the world premiere of a new work by Venezuelan composer Alberto Grau. Maria Guinand, also from Venezuela, conducts the choristers.—Rick MacMillan
