Music Toronto closes its three-concert Discovery series, which showcases young Canadian artists, with a recital by this instructor and coordinator of piano chamber music at the University of British Columbia. Iwaasa’s adventurous program includes the multi-part Cosmophony, a joint creation by 10 Canadian composers, and American innovator George Crumb’s haunting Makrokosmos Book II: 12 Fantasy Pieces.—Rick MacMillan
