This adventurous Montreal group, currently on a cross-country tour, comprises soprano, alto, tenor and baritone players. They serve up commissioned works by Canadian composers Dániel Péter Biró, Michael Matthews and Piotr Grella-Mozejko, as well as scores by two Quebec composers (Gilles Tremblay’s Levées and Simon Martin’s Projections libérantes), plus the late Greek composer Iannis Xenakis’s Xas and Frank Zappa’s Zomby Woof.—Rick MacMillan
