Bramwell Tovey, music director of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, pays a visit to lead this program based on London’s hugely popular annual Promenade concerts. The British-born maestro, always a witty and engaging host, conducts the orchestra in such timeless classics as Rule Britannia, Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory. — Rick MacMillan
