One of Canada’s most beloved sopranos, and a veteran of many of the world’s major opera houses, Bayrakdarian appears in recital under the auspices of the Women’s Musical Club of Toronto. Her program, with accompanist Serouj Kradjian, spans works by Franz Schubert, Vincenzo Bellini, Jake Heggie, Gomidas Vartabed and Maurice Ravel.—Rick MacMillan
