Antonio Vivaldi’s ever-popular suite of violin concertos, each ingen­iously evoking one of the seasons, is performed by Finnish fiddler Pekka Kuusisto and the TSO, under Giordano Bellincampi. The Danish-Italian conductor, who serves as general music director of the Danish National Opera, adds a nod to his Italian heritage with the inclusion of Ottorino Respighi’s majestic tone poem The Pines of Rome.—Rick MacMillan
