The city’s adventurous new music orchestra and its founding conductor, Alex Pauk, wrap up their 25th anniversary season with the 2008 New Wave Composers Festival, featuring a series of educational activities, seminars and concerts designed to place a spotlight on young Canadian music creators. Performances include world premieres of works by David Adamcyk, Wolf Edwards, Vincent Ho, Petar Kresimir Klanac and Maxime McKinley, plus presentations of established scores by Brian Current and Japanese composer Maki Ishii.
