Conductor Kelly Galbraith and this 51-member women’s choir mark the 300th anniversary of the birth of Italian composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi with a performance of his Stabat Mater, plus the Canadian premiere of Faust by Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel (sister of Felix) and David Conte’s In Praise of Music. Accompanying are pianist Ellen Meyer, organist William O’Meara and the Emperor String Quartet.—Rick MacMillan
