Brott and the NAO perform three works inspired by and set against a backdrop of visual art: Canadian composer Harry Freedman’s Images (pieces by Group of Seven member Lawren Harris) Ottorino Respighi’s Tritticio Boticelliano (with paintings by Sandro Botticelli), and Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition (showcasing 10 new works from the Hamilton gallery scene).—Rick MacMillan
