This young Australian video artist raised some eyebrows at the Venice Biennale last year with Maddestmaximus, his deconstruction of the film Mad Max. It’s all part of a greater fascination: much of his work tangles with “guy” stuff, as seen in Portrait of a Man: Alive and spinning, a new video featuring professional freestyle skateboarder Kevin Harris. Artwork prices TBA.
