A detailed painting shows the vast pastel façade of a modern highrise. Looking closer, one notices more than an average number of people on balconies and behind windows. What’s happening? A catastrophe? A parade? Such are the ambiguous queries of Sean Yelland, whose Magritte-style vignettes meld beauty, absurdity and majesty.
