Gallery 44’s annual showcase of emerging photographers from across the country is characterized this year by a range of three-dimensional and interactive work. Tanya Busse, who splits her time between Moncton and Trondheim, Norway, exhibits her images in a book; Sarah Febbraro grabs images of people’s rooms from YouTube, before they enter the frame to dance, sing, rant, etc.; and Montrealer Sabrina Russo’s images come in the form of a whimsical installation—a table with an animated flipbook.
