Moi Moi Design

Moi Moi Design's projects, which combine craft work and design with social and environmental activism, are little strokes of genius. Previously, the group has translated Environment Canada binary code data about snow cover into knitted blankets, and has successfully marketed a set of chic notepads made of scrap paper and discarded paint chips. The new exhibition, Bee Line, celebrates the insect’s industriousness through a hive-like installation and a series of conceptually linked objects.—David Balzer
