Colin Lyons grew up in Petrolia, Ontario, which was once, as its name suggests, an oil boom town. In a thematic continuation of a recent effort—life-sized sculptures of workers, one of whom was his grandfather, as captured in Yousuf Karsh’s 1951 photo at Windsor’s Ford plant—Lyons’s new show consists of miniature replicas of former industrial buildings along Montreal’s Lachine Canal. The pieces are meticulously fashioned out of paper—a medium that easily brings to mind the ephemeral qualities of big industry—and zinc. Artwork $350–$1,500.—David Balzer
