Angell Gallery Relocation

One of Queen West’s commercial-gallery institutions has made the jump to Ossington. Angell Gallery’s new digs (Lennox Contemporary’s old ones) are an expanded 4,000 square feet featuring three exhibition spaces and a project/video room. Director Jamie Angell has big plans for 2010, such as devoting a large percentage of the project area to female Canadian artists. Grand-opening exhibitors include Angell Gallery stalwarts Jakub Dolejs, Geoffrey Pugen and Luke Painter. Artwork $1,000–$20,000.—David Balzer
