DESIGNER

Leather goods label Rudsak, founded by Evik Asatoorian, celebrated its 20th anniversary by hosting Thursday’s final show.

THE SCENE

Arts and Crafts honcho Jeffrey Remedios was spotted front row, along with CBC’s Mr. D star Naomi Snieckus and Much Music host Liz Trinnear, who was so taken with the fur caps she opted to don her own (brought from home, not borrowed from the models) midway through the show.

THE COLLECTION

Fur was once again everywhere: rabbit fur, raccoon fur and even goat fur. It appeared on fluffy fur caps, demure coat collars and a handful of provocatively cut jackets (we overheard more than a few people comparing them to parts of the female anatomy). Daringly short leather skirts (some in a gleaming golden hue) were paired with sexy thigh-high boots and floral-patterned fishnets.

BEST PIECES

We imagine these green and black lace-ups would keep feet dry and stylish in even the worst of snowstorms (though taking them off might require a whole team of friends). We also liked the leather jackets embossed with paisley and floral patterns.
