Condo of the Week: Two wine fridges and a great view for just under $3 million

COTWlead

Address:  206 Bloor Street West, Unit 602

Neighbourhood: Annex

Agent: Janice Fox, Hazelton Real Estate Inc.

Price:  $2,795,000

The Place: A sixth floor unit in the newly finished Museum House condominiums at Bloor and Avenue.

Bragging Rights: Live the glamorous life with high end appliances (not a shocker in this building, but still) like Miele and Subzero, 2 wine fridges, a direct access elevator and just six floors below, some of the city’s most luxe shopping destinations. Recreate the Pretty Woman “big mistake, huge!” scene every day, if you like.

Big Selling Point: A building so nice, we wrote about it twice. The views at Museum House, which include the ROM, Philosopher’s Walk, the Royal Conservatory of Music and even a glimpse of the CN Tower, are some of the best in the city. Since there are only 27 units in the building and no one really knows what’s going to happen with the nearby once rumoured McLaughlin Planetarium condo development, views are scarce – snap this one up quickly.

Possible Deal Breaker: The unit comes with only one parking space, but take advantage of the fact you live within walking distance of the Yonge, Bloor and Spadina lines and ride the rocket. Or, just park the others at the cottage (we’re assuming you’ve got one of those too).

By the Numbers:

  • $2,795,000
  • 2 bedrooms
  • 3 bathrooms
  • $2,645.67 monthly maintenance fees
  • 1 two-sided fireplace
