So much is wrong with this article but I'll limit myself to pointing out that Miami is far from being Florida's southernmost city. Definitely one of the worst-researched travel pieces I've ever read.

January 8, 2010 | by AdministratorPhuket is one of the worst Wasaga Beach style tacky hellhole resort towns in the country.
The Koh Phi Phi islands off the coast of Phuket aren't quite as tacky as Phuket, but close.
A far nicer choice is Raillay Beach and Tonsai Beach to the south (accessible only by 10 minute boat ride) - pristine, clean and vehicle free with amazing rock climbing, clean beaches and accommodations for every price range.
You couldn't pay me to hang out in Phuket. I've been to Koh Phi Phi and it's not worth a trip back.
January 14, 2010 | by P88$145 as a backpacker price? As a backpacker, I can tell you you're out of your minds. $7-$15 per night will get you a private hut with ensuite bath on a beach or lake just about anywhere in Southeast Asia (including Phuket and the Phi Phi islands). I definitely won't be taking advice from someone who doesn't know how badly they got ripped off.
