Home: The same historic three-bedroom that housed Jack’s MP dad in the ‘80s. Layton’s cousin Diane rents the second floor to Olivia and him for $1,200 a month.
’Hood: The Glebe, Ottawa’s answer to the Annex, home to academics and community activists.
Decor: A double bed, desk, two dressers and a small TV.
In the kitchen: Diane keeps the fridge stocked with Olivia and Jack’s faves, like peanut butter.
Getting to the hill: 15 minutes by bicycle.
