Holly Cole
Holly Cole has a special relationship with the songs of Christmas, reaching back to her four-song 1991 EP called The Christmas Blues and her 2001 CD Baby It’s Cold Outside. Her regular band is supplemented by an orchestra for this seasonal concert.

The Elmer Iseler Singers
Lydia Adams conducts Handel’s Messiah, at one of the city’s classic 19th-century churches.

Oriana Women’s Choir
William Brown conducts the 30-member choir in Cinammon & Cedar, a pops concert dedicated to seasonal favourites such as “Deck the Halls” and the concert’s title piece by François Lukawecki.

A Twisted Christmas
Iconic '80s glam band Twisted Sister plays seasonal, headbanging favourites off their latest—and final—album, A Twisted Christmas.

Toronto Mendelssohn Choir
Guest conductor Paul Halley presides over the TMC’s annual Festival of Carols, with the group’s 165 beautiful voices raised in a rousing selection of yuletide tunes, complemented by seasonal anecdotes (by John Fraser, master of Massey College) and spirited audience sing-along sessions.

The Toronto Consort
David Fallis leads the early music ensemble in Michael Praetorius’s Christmas Vespers. Also on the program: a selection of Christmas carols, with optional audience participation.

Leah Posluns Theatre
The miracle of the oil is recounted through music at children’s entertainer Kayla’s Fourth Annual Family Hanukkah Concert and Party in support of the Jacob’s Ladder foundation.
