Finding the perfect club can be a workout in itself. Here, the top spots to shed pounds, find serenity and get lucky By Jason McBride
FOR THE TIME CRUNCHED
H.I.T. Fitness’s mandate is all in its acronym: high intensity training. The gym’s unique machines, the Vibe and Range of Motion—a cross between a torture device and a ride at the Ex—promise to reduce your daily workout to the length of a coffee break. (Working most of your muscle groups at once does the trick, according to the club’s research.) Skeptics abound, but clients swear by the weight-reducing and strength-boosting benefits.
