Hush Couture, Toronto’s newest dress rental boutique, is like a candy store for the Gossip Girl generation. Finding the perfect frock is as simple as visiting the store’s Web site (hushcouture.ca) and clicking on the desired item. Garments (in sizes 0 to 14) are shipped the same day and can be rented for three to seven days ($50–$425). The latter may not seem like a steal, but consider the alternative—coughing up $1,800 to own this lace Dolce and Gabbana bustier dress.
