Dispatches From the Urban Jungle
Ken Kostick with his little darlings
DOGGY STYLE
Local cook-and-gab aficionado Ken Kostick is busy planning an arranged marriage: the nuptials of his chihuahuas Napoleon and Josephine. If all goes according to plan, the two pups—seen regularly around town in a Louis Vuitton doggy carrier—will exchange bow-vows at the PawsWay Pet Discovery Centre, after which man and beast will assemble at the Royal York. Kostick has asked Wayne Clark to design a gown for Josephine, and to complete the furry festivities, the newlyweds will enjoy two days of serious pup pampering in one of the hotel suites. Kostick plans to spend close to $10,000 for a ceremony he admits is as much for his two-legged pals as his four-legged ones. Among those expected: CTV top dog Ivan Fecan and Kostick’s He Said, She Said co-host, Mary Jo Eustace, who knows something about dogs—her husband ran off with Tori Spelling three years ago.—Jameson Berkow
