Cool-kid English clothier Fred Perry’s latest shop aims to please both mods and rockers

The Vespa set just got a new home base: iconic U.K. label Fred Perry has moved into West Queen West, opening its first Canadian outpost at Queen and Shaw. The shop is a crisp take on retro fashion, the emphasis on hipster-favoured zip-ups and cotton pique polos, with a smaller selection for women. Expect a showdown between Lacoste’s iconic crocodile and Perry’s laurel wreath. 964 Queen St. W., 416-538-3733.
