The Blues aren’t known for delivering on the field (they recently lost 49 consecutive games). But even moderate pigskin fans enjoy their exploits in the new, open-air stadium with views of the CN Tower.
Tickets: Free for U of T students, $10 for everyone else.
Season: Labour Day through October.
TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS
While the baseball team that calls Christie Pits home field might not have the star power of those other Leafs, their games do have a certain Field of Dreams meets Bad News Bears charm.
Tickets: Free.
Season: First weekend of May through late July.
CANADIAN SOCCER LEAGUE
Footie fans who can’t get enough of the Toronto FC can head to Parkdale’s Lamport Stadium to watch the Canadian Soccer League’s TFC Academy do their thing.
Tickets: $12.50–$15.
Season: Mid-May through October.
TORONTO MARLIES
Tired of paying $200 to watch the loser Leafs? Scoot over to the Ricoh Coliseum and watch their farm team, the defending American Hockey League North Division champions, play instead.
Tickets: $10–$38.
Season: October 10, 2008, through April 11, 2009.
