Like a glove: the ultimate skinny jeans

skinniesDespite having a legion of haters, skinny jeans aren’t going away—good news for Torontonians, since there’s no better pant to tuck into winter boots. With so many unflattering and uncomfortable versions around, we went on a hunt for the ultimate skinnies. Our pick: the very slim-cut Avedons by Citizens of Humanity, which are incredibly soft, made of a stretchy cotton, rayon, cupro and polyurethane blend that makes them feel more like leggings than jeans. They’re the best pair out there.

$213–$258 at Over the Rainbow, 110 Yorkville Ave., 416-967-7448, rainbowjeans.com.

  1. Covet & Crave has a sexy and thoughtful selection of skinnies too… and I was able to find a pair of joe’s even though I was between sizes at the time!

  2. Just curious where else you scouted…nothing against Citizens of Humanity, but what else made the top list?

  3. Citizens are great but don’t hold a candle to Second Denim’s super skinny Yoga Jeans. Not only do they look amazing on different body types, there truly is no other denim that offers the same level of comfort. Ahhhh, just love them!

  4. I agree with Second Denim’s Yoga Jeans. They are the most comfortable jeans I have ever bought, and are worth the $100 they cost.. .

You can buy them at ShopGirls in Toronto.
