Bottled up: a modern wine rack for under $25

Grapevine Wine RackNow that patio season has come to an abrupt end, LCBO gems are replacing local microbrews as Toronto’s preferred tipple. For both casual drinkers and aficionados without cellars, finding a good wine rack is an ongoing struggle. (Scrolled wrought iron versions are the dominant fashion.) This inexpensive six-bottle rack designed by Umbra is small enough for the space-deprived and modern enough to suit sleek condos. When the rack is full, the bottles look as though they are floating mid-air. It’s just the right way to showcase those prized bottles from Sonoma County.

Umbra wine rack, $22 at Ziggy’s at Home, 794 College St., 416-535-8728.
