Sale rack scavenger: Holt Renfrew edition

(Image: Courtney Shea)

Navajo-inspired jacket by Polo Ralph Lauren

Ralph was borrowing inspiration from the lumberjack back when hipsters were still smitten with trucker caps. This one has rad dad written all over it.

  6. This is ridiculous. This type of article goes to show its readers that Toronto Life is totally out of touch with the economic hardship that seems to plague a large populations of Torontonians. Shame on you.

  8. This is really ugly stuff….that has to do with the buyers at Holts who suck at what they do and every season it’s just boring overpriced ugly pieces of collections. There is no cohesiveness. Toronto in general sucks for shopping. We get so shortchanged in this city. Just go to Europe or even in the States and the shopping is fantastic and reasonably priced. Holts tries too hard and their sales staff think they own the place but in reality this so called “luxury” store is such a joke.

  9. Seriously? I am embarrassed for you!! The clothes chosen are ugly, tacky and overpriced! I wouldn’t take them if you paid me for them. Futhermore, the quality of the picture is purely amateur. I am surprised that a well respected store such as Holts would allow you to pulish this. I guess it goes to show how truely little Toronto Life and Holts care about the consumer.

  10. Regular-priced items don’t move that fast at Holts – good on them to slash prices to get these Picasso motifs out of sight
