Looking for a T-shirt to cheer on a favourite fake sports team, but don’t want to shell out the cash? You’re in luck, because Abercrombie and Fitch is offering 30 per cent off everything in its Eaton Centre location and is removing price tags that show both Canadian and American prices. The move comes after J. Crew lowered Canadian prices online last week amid a backlash from customers unhappy with the disparity in pricing between Canadian and American retailers. Abercrombie is being vague on details, with spokesman Eric Cerny saying, “I cannot comment on our specific plans, but we are looking at a few things that we think will help improve the sales trend in Canada.” Hey Abercrombie, if you want to increase sales, just open branches at Western and Queen’s University—first-year students will be lined up around the block.
