Toronto Fashion Week producer Jarrad Clark tackles Australian reality TV

Project Runway Australia is one of the most watched versions of the hit reality TV franchise (after the original American instalment), and if last September’s Aussie reality TV snafu (where Australia’s Next Top Model host Sarah Murdoch announced the wrong winner) was any indication, we can prepare ourselves for some awkward—and hilarious—moments, since all fashion reality shows are essentially the same. Jarrad Clark, regional production director for IMG—that means he’s partly responsible for our own still-growing-and-learning Toronto Fashion Week—will act as one of the judges on the show alongside designer Kirrily Johnston, host/model Megan Gale and designer Alex Perry (touted as “Australia’s most glamorous”). Clark’s Project Runway profile indicates that his events attract “VIP buyers locally and internationally, [and] he knows how to get [brands] recognized on a global scale.” We assume he’s talking about his work producing New York Fashion Week.
