After four years in Twin Pines, Stephen Plume is reluctant to leave. “It’s probably one of the nicest neighbourhoods I’ve ever lived in,” he says. “Everyone is friendly, everyone sticks together.” Plume plans to rent a place for a year in Port Credit, where he grew up. “I’ll maybe buy after that,” he says. “I’ve got two daughters going to university and a son going to college, so I’ll use the money from the sale of the mobile home to cover some of their tuition costs.”
