Rob Ford and brother Doug are bringing the gravy hunt really, really close to home. Word is the Fords are committed to losing weight this year and planning to raise a few bucks for local charities in the process. Doug promises “a weigh-in every so often” at city hall, apparently on those old-timey scales grocery stores used to have (he claims those are the only ones that could handle “two heavyweights”), and Rob says he’ll have a tough time cutting back on ice cream. Exercise is also supposed to be an important part of their program—we suggest they try some light cycling on for size. Read the entire story [NewsTalk 1010] »

unless he hires a nutritionist. He left his house yesterday, after his sister’s partner allegedly threatened his life, with a coke in his hand. Someone should let him know coke is not good for weight loss, but instead is good for weight gain. Honestly, the Ford family would be good fodder for the Jerry Springer show.
January 12, 2012 at 2:23 pm | by Rob Ford won't lose weightCommom Ford’s do you really think we care about your weight loss? Sorry that is your personal problem and not a problem for the people of toronto. You should (as a mayor) be more concerned about the people of toronto. In all reality your job is to look after the people of toronto and who really cares (other than your own family) if your losing even one pound. We as a city are losing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can’t control your own personal problems, why as a city should we trust that you can control ours. We don’t really give a damn if your slim and fit or out of control with your weight, get a grip on our city, and fix it. A sincere torontonian xo
