TIFF PARTY: Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart hang out in the ultimate tweenage fantasy at Soho House

The party gods smiled on Soho House again last night, which is not at all surprising at this point (though we suspect they’ll get some competition for the most star-powered soirée tonight from the CAA party in Liberty Village). Those of us keeping a celebrity score card were able to tick off Kristen Stewart, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Emma Watson, Emily Blunt, Jake Gyllenhaal, America Ferrera, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Alexander Skarsgard, Andy Samburg and Woody Harrelson. The biggest goss of the night, though, was the clandestine Twilight/Hunger Games rendezvous (who knew Bella and Katniss were buds?). Read on for the scoop—in our third set of dispatches from Soho House.

Katniss and Bella steal away to the ultra-private third floor
Tweenage worlds collided when Bella (Stewart) and Katniss (Lawrence) met up for a secret late-night rendezvous. The Soho brass opened a VMIP (that’s very most important people) third floor so that K-Stew and J-Law could hang out away from prying eyes—including ours…ugh!

The awesome power of Jennifer Lawrence’s toes
Earlier in the evening, Lawrence bragged to super-sexy Sam Rockwell about how she could “pick up anything…anything” with her toes. She was barefoot at the time, so we got a good look at the magical digits. Later, Lawrence put her high heels back on, which turned out to be bad luck for us because she stepped on our toe when she walked by. She then apologized and invited us to hang out with K-Stew to make up for it—only that last part didn’t happen.

• Cutest Couple Award: Round Three
Touchy-feely couples are now officially a trend at TIFF 2012. Kate Hudson and her fiancé Matt Bellamy made their play last night after Emily Blunt and John Krasinski won the award on Thursday night and Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Sam Taylor-Wood followed suit on Friday. Perched in corner couches with friends, the newish mom and dad (Hudson had baby Bing last summer) were in full flirt mode. And speaking of recently-had-a-baby, Hudson, who wore figure-hugging Alexander McQueen, wins the body-that-just-won’t-quit award. Her butt is the most awe-inspiring natural wonder we’ve seen since Jude Law’s advancing hairline.

Tall Drink of Water Award (part deux)
We gave the original honour to Boardwalk Empires Michael Pitt, but last night the tallest (and most drinkable) man in the room was Alexander Skarsgård, who sported head-to-toe black and chatted with friends about—what else?—movies in the side-door smoking section.

Modern Men
Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul gabbed with Joseph Gordon Levitt about his other passion: going to music festivals. Of course these guys talk about music festivals, right?
