Torpedo Alert: Charlie Sheen is indeed bringing his show to Toronto

Charlie Sheen’s show comes to Massey Hall on April 14

For the first time since Joe Carter’s walk-off home run in 1993, Torontonians are finally winning: this April, Charlie Sheen is bringing his hotly anticipated one-man show to Toronto. We first speculated that Charlie Sheen Live: My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option would expand beyond its eight-date U.S. run and head north of the border after the initial two shows sold out in only 18 minutes.

After keeping mum on the details, Sheen’s camp has announced that the human catchphrase machine will appear at Massey Hall on April 14, with tickets going on sale tomorrow at $79.50 to $109.50 a pop. Given the speed at which the U.S. shows are selling out, we initially wondered whether the Air Canada Centre might not be a better venue, but then we remembered: the ACC’s usual occupants are used to losing, and Sheen is all about, well, you know.

  1. Hello, just wondering if you have any info about a possible presale for this event. I read on CP24 that there was a presale starting today… and on Ticketmaster, there’s mention of an AMEX Front of the Line presale, but they list the 19th as their start date… so not sure how that would work as a “presale.” Seems like it doesn’t start until the 19th though according to all other sources (such as your article). Can you confirm?

    Thanks,
    Karina

  2. This is not a fron toft e line event, I work for front of the line and this was a mistake by ticketmaster.
