New Order to perform in Toronto for the first time since 2001
U.K. post-punk outfit New Order hasn’t performed in North America for seven years, but the band has just announced some shows over here for this October, including one in Toronto on October 23 at the Sony Centre (the band hasn’t performed in Canada since 2001). There are only seven stops in total, and Toronto is the last leg of the tour, so there’s a good chance this show is going to sell out in record time. We just hope we’ll get to dance to this. You copied “post-punk” off Rolling Stone, eh? I think anyone who’d buy a ticket to this show got over that term before you were born.
WOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/
Awesome. Pretty sure New Order hasn’t played Toronto since 1993. They played Vancouver in 2001. I’ve been waiting a long time for this – haven’t seen them since Massey Hall in ’87!
YEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAW! wonder when tickets go onsale
Great venue too!
I had to listen to them perform at the Ex stadium from outside the gates. My best friend & I couldn’t afford tickets to see them. Now, I’m dying to find out when tickets go on sale.
Bagged two tickets!!!!
Good job too because from what I could tell on Ticketmaster the tickets were pretty much all sold within 45 minutes of them becoming available…
Can’t wait for Tonight’s Show!
YIPEEEEEEEE! Toronto is the last stop on their Tour!
I can’t believe they won’t be playing 60 Miles an hour, 1963, Sub-Culture, Thieves Like Us, Touched by the Hand of Gd.
and mabe even Shell Shock
