Canadian indie crossover darlings Arcade Fire to perform at this year’s Grammys

It’s been quite a year for Montreal-based indie superstars Arcade Fire, with rave reviews for The Suburbs, sold-out concerts and high-profile television performances. The band recently joined fellow Canadians Justin Bieber and Drake with three Grammy nods this year, one for best rock performance by a duo or group with vocals for “Ready to Start,” as well as album of the year and best alternative music album. We’re still upset about missing the band’s sold-out Olympic Island show last August, but their spot on this year’s Grammy performance roster is some consolation.

The 53rd annual Grammy awards air Feb. 13.
