Canada’s Got Talent, episode 18: who is Dina Pugliese’s bespoke microphone designer?
In this episode of Canada’s Got Talent, mostly everything goes as we expect it to, with a few minute differences: host Dina Pugliese has yet another sparkly microphone, only this time it’s black (Seriously, what is the microphone budget on this program?); the celebrity of the week isn’t even in the audience (How I Met Your Mother’s Cobie Smulders pre-recorded a congratulations to the winners); and judge Stephan Moccio performs a song off his new album “Elements” (the instrumental “October”, with a staggeringly large orchestra). The voting, however, goes the way we imagined it would.
First up on the chopping block is brother and sister dance team Jive, hoop spinner Eric Saintonge and clog dancers Sagkeeng’s Finest. Much like we predicted on Monday, the boys from Sagkeeng advance to the finals with the most votes from Canada. Following Moccio’s musical interlude (which, considering his love of showmanship, seems a little dull without a vocalist) and a Photoshopped picture of him as a baby with a scarf (never let it be said the producers of CGT aren’t in on the joke), the second round of contestants is up. As soon as Silvia Ricciotto, Angela and Rally and KRNFX are on stage for the next round of judging, Ricciotto is quickly given the boot. The judges debate over Rally’s cuteness and KRNFX’s talent, but they ultimately decide in favour of talent. Duh.

I rod your comments and I want to say thank you to be talking about me and my litle part on cameras…Of course no body see me before the April 29, nobody heare my auditions and the amazing song I sang, nobody come to my hose to let me know I am one of the semi-finalist…I could have much more auditory if like others I had moments apppaering in the program and be seen on T.V., is like that an artist get loved by the public, but in my case wasen’t like that.
What happen, why this happened? I’ll never know…and that make me think: this is not fear…and then I feel melancolic because if the public had the chance to know me more for sure I’ll be in the finals…Thanks again.Musically your, SIlvia Ricciotto ( I’mm sorry for my poor English…)
