From postmodernism to neo-romanticism, the unending quest to define “art” has always had just one universally accepted rule to go by: art is expensive. Now the Power Plant has tossed even that aside by offering free gallery admission for an entire year, beginning in March. While summer visits have been free since 2005, year-round attendees can now spend their $6 on other galleries and/or caramel macchiatos.
