Babies opens the festival on April 29
Yesterday, Hot Docs, also known as Toronto’s other film festival, released its 2010 lineup of over 170 documentaries. Among the highlights:
• Babies, a largely dialogue-free French film, follows four newborns from Tokyo, Namibia, Mongolia and San Francisco from birth to their first step. It opens the festival.
• Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage, Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn’s tribute to the legendary Canadian rock trio, will have its world premiere before Hot Docs at the Tribeca Film Festival.
• Teenage Paparazzo is Entourage star Adrien Grenier’s film about teenage paparazzo Austin Visschedyk; his relationship with the boy (they met when the boy shot Grenier) is at the centre of the film.
• Waste Land has won awards at the Berlin Film Festival and Sundance for its heartwarming look at the world’s largest landfill, the people who rummage through it and the man who turns their finds into art.
• The Story of Furious Pete, by Toronto’s George Tsioutsioulas, documents an anorexic turned competitive eater.

Nice, hope to make it to more than one screening this year. Very underrated festival where everyone can find something they will enjoy.

But just imagine if you added some great pictures or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this site could definitely be one of the most beneficial in its field. Wonderful blog!
