Now these guys, I LIKE! The restaurateurs of the city should watch the Rubino brothers more closely and take some notes. These guys are in it for the right reasons. Sure everyone has to make a living and you don't want to work for peanuts, but there's also a passion, a culinary knowledge, and an acute understanding of customer service that very few get right as well as these guys. I can't say I love everything Khabouth does, but I guess deep pockets help in any restaurant project. Anyway, I wish them well and will be in to support not only with my wonderful words, but with my cold. hard. $$$$$. And I will love it.

This is what I was talking about with Brad Long's new thing and the Roosevelt Room. The Rubino brothers could conceiveably open up a few more restaurants and get enough backers to pay, but it tells you something that they don't because they are concerned with quality control. That is what those Pepsi's at the hotel never understood about their Italian place and why it flopped.
