Back in September, we told you about Dishcrawl, the San Franciso–born pub crawl for foodies that was set to make its first appearance in Toronto (one smart aleck of a commenter likened the crowd of eaters to a gravy train). Earlier today, Torontoist published an entertaining first-person account of one diner’s struggle to make it through the second iteration of the event, which took place on the inauspicious stretch of King West between Peter and Simcoe streets. Turns out, it’s just not that easy to put away the Cajun fried alligator at Big Daddy’s Bourbon Street Bistro after you’ve already eaten a mini-burger, fries, some cheddar ale soup, a pair of tacos, a little aloo papri chaat and a helping of butter chicken. And finishing the whole thing with a strawberry cupcake? Not for the faint of stomach. Read the whole story [Torontoist] »

Was at the same Dishcrawl. Definitely tough to stomach all the food there. Drinking helped somehow.
