Too bad TL was never able to rid itself of Leaf and for that pretty awful error on TL's part, I am surprised and very disappointed in the site's Administrator and anyone else responsible for never having 1) banned Leaf and all his ip addies 2) called in the cops - something we were forced to do on our own, sadly.

As a further and final posting to this thread and sadly to the blog's statement of its imminent demise, I wish to state that it is indeed sad and rather pathetic and indicative of a pretty lonely and friendless existence, when someone like a " Marilyn2 or 3 or 1, etc." rarely posts to topics on this once excellent blog except to accuse, judge, insult and more or less behave in true predatory / stalker fashion - however infrequently " Marilyn and all her aliases log on here.
She says nothing of value or interest or newsworthy or topic theme / subject but has no problem, after remaining absent, it seems, for long periods of time, to suddenly appear or reappear simply to abuse and accuse.
It might be a longshot, but our " Marilyn " might just also be Leaf or anyone of its numerous incarnations. Nevertheless, whether in spite of or because of this, I wish our many Marilyns, etc. good wishes for a productive existence, " Far from the Madding Crowd " ( Thomas Hardy ) of blogsphere atalkers, predators and other lonely, sad internet wanderers. I am a retired journalist, highly respected in the industry and in my community, and have no lack of love in my life. I have never ever used an alias here. I am now Marilyn2 only because I re-registered here after the Conrad blog ended and this new one began. I will not sink to Casey's low level of insults. I can only hope that she rests in peace now that this blog is dead. As for Conrad Black, he got what he deserves, while Barbara's ultimate fate still awaits the outcome of civil cases, which I will watch with great interest.

The Black Blog was my first and shall be my last. It was the world's " SILENCE " as well as the Jews themselves ( who refused to believe that there actually WAS a FINAL SOLUTION re the Holocaust ) that springs to mind when I am aware of some of Barbara aka Melanie's disgraceful silence and read her " non comments " on the Leaf vermin.
I suggest to you, Barbara, that this is one time that it is better to just stop making excuses for your garbage explanations as you do continually - always defending your actions that makes you appear even more disgraceful and shameful - and just shut the hell up - count to ten before you try yet again to explain to me and others like me your excuses for your continuing to 1) remain silent 2) refusal to do anything proactive to rid this blog of Leaf as in calling in the police or internet security.....etc., etc. 3) continue to engage this disgrace of a human being via resposes to his comments, ignoring his insults to you and generally refusing to even acknowledge Leaf's presence on this blog.

That you are unable even to distinguish between satirical commentary with touches of responsive put downs ( to me, as usual ), is not only sad but indicative of someone who may just be borderline intelligence / unable to discern what overthetop comments to make a point versus nonsense, etc. ). As such, you have no business being on a a blog, any blog, wherein satire as in Jonathan Swift, and Lewis Carroll,are imployed and expected to be taken in the context for which it was intended.
